Basic Hermeneutics for Youth Workers, written by Anthony Delgado, provides the basic Bible study tools necessary for most youth workers, in a single compact, easy to understand volume. This book will aid busy youth workers in their orthodox understanding of God's word. 
There is a lot to be said about spiritual gifts. These youth Bible study lessons are designed to help teens to discover their gifts, understand what their gifts are used for in the church and to instill them with a desire to put them into practice.
Before you start the study, have the youth go to this website and take the spiritual gifts test. There is a page at the end of the test which they can print. It will include the gifts that they may have as well as gifts which may develop in the future. Encourage them to also read about the gifts that came up so they can see how to use them.
They should bring the printout to the first meeting for the spiritual gifts class. This should provide plenty of material for you to talk over. Once you have completed the test portion of the study, you will pick up in 1 Corinthians 12-14 to see what the Bible has to say about using your spiritual gifts.
